PC 333D: The new dimension in 3D tournament gaming
Copenhagen, May 2010 – The PC 333D headset could be a game-changer. The PC 333D aims to bring the virtual soundscape with 7.1 channel surround sound powered by Dolby* Headphone. For FPS enthusiasts used to the basic sound orientation of 2 channel headsets, it’s a huge sensory jump. The equivalent of switching from mono to stereo and black & white to color at once. Other features are equally impressive. Circumaural closed-acoustic ear cups immerse players deeply in the game but a convenient swivel DJ Hinge makes it easy to talk to the outside world. The PC 333D also has intuitive controls and a professional noise canceling microphone that automatically mutes when you raise the boom.
Sennheiser Communications’ tie-in with the world-class gamers at mTw clearly had a big influence on the professional look and feel of the PC 333D. And on the sound, which is a revelation. With a switch on the supplied 3D G4ME1 7.1 USB soundcard, users can turn on 7.1 channel surround powered by Dolby Headphone – for a new level of off-screen acoustic detail that isn’t normally perceptible. Instead of only locating a sound as right, left or front, the gamer has 360° coverage.
