European Customers Vote Sennheiser Communications "Best in Headsets"
15.04.2006 Copenhagen

Headset solutions supplier, Sennheiser Communications A/S, was voted "Best in Headsets EMEA" at ContactCenterWorld.com 2006 Members' Choice Awards, which are given based entirely on customer feedback.

Based in Denmark and internationally active, headset manufacturer Sennheiser Communications A/S was recently voted "Best in Headsets EMEA" at the ContactCenterWorld.com 2006 Members' Choice Awards. The winners were announced at the Contact Center World Awards Conference in Dallas, Texas on 30th March 2006. The Members' Choice Awards have been presented for 4 years running and recognize industry solution providers who sell products or services to contact centers. ContactCenterWorld is a global support organization for contact center industry professionals.

Unique about these awards is that they are given based entirely on customer feedback. Winners are those organizations who receive the highest average scores as voted for by their clients. Andreas Bach, General Manager Marketing and Sales at Sennheiser Communications, commented on the prize. "We are delighted to be voted 'Best in Headsets' by our customers in Europea. This is particularly gratifying, considering the short time we have been on the market. We have gone from complete newcomers to being recognized as Best in Class in just three years. We look forward to taking on the challenge of achieving the same level of brand awareness and positive brand attitude in the Americas, as we have already achieved in Europe".

Sennheiser Communications sees this prize as a reward for their dedication to enriching customers daily lives. This is achieved for example by offering headsets with the highest possible quality and design standards. With this in mind, Sennheiser engineers have created a series of unique technolgies, all aimed at preserving or improving the wearer's well being. Just one example includes ActiveGard™, the unique technology which is built-in to every telecom headset. ActiveGard™ helps to safeguard people's hearing by compressing a potentially harmful signal before it reaches their ears.

Also as part of the effort to make life easier for customers, Sennheiser Communications has developed the SafetyZone. This microsite - www.senncom.com/safetyzone - provides a service to decision makers in contact centers in particular, since it contains data as to how the new EU drective regarding "Noise at Work" affects them. Information includes their responsibilties towards safeguarding employees and possible solution. Thus, the site provides a basis for managers in making crucial business decisions.
